2. Overview

When you visit this website, technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamp) is collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure. Beyond that, I only process data when you actively interact with me — for example via the contact form or appointment booking.

3. Hosting

The website is served via Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc.). On each request, technically necessary data is processed to deliver the site securely and reliably: IP address (shortened/anonymised), date and time of access, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL.

4. Analytics with Umami

I use Umami Cloud (umami.is) for anonymised analysis of visits and clicks (e.g. on “Book a call”). No cookies are set, no personal data is stored and no information is shared with third parties; IP addresses are processed anonymously.

If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, no analysis takes place; this counts as an objection to the processing (Art. 21(5) GDPR).

5. Contact form and email

If you contact me via the form or by email, I process your details (name, company, email address, topic, message) solely to handle your request. The form is received via Cloudflare Workers and delivered to me by the email service Resend (Resend, Inc.). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with Resend. Resend processes the data in the USA; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR), under which Resend is certified. To protect against spam and abuse, I limit the number of requests per IP address and use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.). Turnstile is only loaded once you open the contact form and uses technical characteristics of your browser (including IP address, browser and device information) to check whether the request comes from a human. No cookies are set for advertising or tracking purposes. More information: cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries and preventing abuse).

6. Appointment booking via Google Calendar

The contact page embeds appointment booking from Google Calendar (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The booking calendar is only loaded once you actively click “Load calendar”. Only then is a connection to Google established, and Google processes, among other things, your IP address and browser information.

• Details such as name and email address are entered voluntarily, directly in Google’s booking form.
• Alternatively, you can open the booking page at Google directly or contact me via form, email or phone.
• Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent by clicking “Load calendar”). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via “Unload calendar”.

7. Local storage of display settings

If you switch the colour scheme, this setting is stored in your browser’s local storage. The information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to me or third parties.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). 9. Storage period

Personal data you send me via form, email, phone or appointment booking is stored only as long as necessary to handle your request. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

10. SSL/TLS encryption

This website uses HTTPS encryption, so your data is transmitted encrypted.
